Support the Museum with a Donation

You can help strengthen the museum’s collection and future art acquisitions by making a donation directly to the museum. Your support helps ensure that we can continue to collect, preserve, and share art for the benefit of everyone.

How to Donate

You can easily make a donation via:
MobilePay: 78768
Bank transfer:
Registration no.: 7565
Account no.: 0001106611
Please remember to include your full name and CPR number (or CVR number for companies) when donating via MobilePay or bank transfer. This information is used solely for reporting purposes to the Danish Tax Agency (Skattestyrelsen).

Tax Deduction for Your Donation

The museum is approved under Section 8A of the Danish Tax Assessment Act, which means that both individuals and companies can receive a tax deduction for donations (up to the applicable annual limit).
To maintain this approval, the museum must have at least 100 donors each year, each contributing a minimum of DKK 200.
When you provide your CPR number, we ensure that your donation is automatically reported to the Danish Tax Agency, so the deduction is included in your annual tax statement.

Donating Artwork to the Museum

If you wish to donate a work of art to the museum, we kindly ask you to contact us in advance. This allows us to assess together whether the artwork fits within the museum’s collection and acquisition profile.

Legacy Donations (Wills and Bequests)

You can support the museum by including a donation in your will.
We have partnered with Dokument 24, where you can create a free will when naming Skovgaard Museum as an heir or beneficiary. The will is free of charge regardless of the donation amount.
Your will is created online by answering a series of questions. Once completed, you will immediately receive your will by email. It must then be signed in front of a notary or two witnesses. You will receive further instructions on signing along with the document.
If you have questions about inheritance or wills, you can get free, no-obligation advice from Dokument 24 at:
Phone: +45 5370 1030
Email: info@dokument24.dk
You are also always welcome to contact the museum directly:
