The museum is closed:
- Every Monday (except Easter Monday and Whit Monday)
- 23–26 December, 31 December, and 1 January
Admission
• Standard ticket: DKK 90
• Seniors (65+): DKK 75
• Groups (min. 10 people): DKK 70
• Children and young people (under 18): Free admission
• Members of Friends of Skovgaard Museum: Free admission
• Students (with valid student ID): Free admission
Transport and Parking
Parking is available directly in front of the museum for cars and coaches.
There are direct train connections from Struer, Aarhus, and Langå every 30 minutes.
The museum is approximately a 10‑minute walk from Viborg Station via the pedestrian street.
Accessibility
The museum is housed in a 300‑year‑old listed building with no lift and steep staircases. Unfortunately, this makes access very difficult for visitors with reduced mobility. If you wish to visit the museum and have mobility impairments, we recommend coming with a companion.
