Photo Sales
If you wish to purchase photographs of works from Skovgaard Museum for research, publications, or other purposes, please send an email to
sbh@skovgaardmuseet.dk.
Payment
- Existing images for non-commercial use (research, etc.): DKK 300 + VAT
- Existing images for commercial use (publishers, etc.): DKK 875 + VAT
- New photography: DKK 2,000 + VAT
All photo orders are subject to an administration fee of DKK 75.
For new photography, a processing time of 2–3 weeks should be expected.
Credits
When using the museum’s images, the following information must be stated:
- The artist’s name, the title of the work, and its date
- The work is owned by Skovgaard Museum
- The photographer’s name, if known. Otherwise © Skovgaard Museum
Requirements
Reproductions of works may not be cropped, overprinted, or enlarged beyond the original size without special permission from Skovgaard Museum.
We send the material via WeTransfer.com, and the invoice will be sent separately.
Copyright
Some of the museum’s works are protected by copyright in accordance with current legislation (until 70 years after the artist’s death). It is the responsibility of the requester to clear and, if applicable, pay any fees for reproduction permission. Skovgaard Museum recommends contacting VISDA, which administers the rights of most artists.
