The volunteers of the Skovgaard Museum – a vital support in the museum’s work!
In 2008, the museum initiated the creation of a group of volunteers from the museum’s circle of friends. The purpose was to contribute to the museum’s daily activities while giving participants insight into the work that takes place “behind the scenes.”
Today, our volunteers make a tremendous difference in the museum’s everyday operations. The museum currently has around 35 volunteers who assist with a variety of tasks, depending on their own interests, time, and energy. Some volunteers work in the shop, others help register the museum’s collections of letters and books, while others assist with events and exhibition openings.
