The Board of the Skovgaard Museum

The Skovgaard Museum is a self-governing institution with an independent board that holds overall responsibility for the museum’s management and strategic development.

In 2026, Christian Lützen was appointed as the new Chair. In the same year, the board was strengthened with two new members: Henrik Stubkjær and Dagmar Warming.

The museum’s primary funding body is Viborg Municipality, and in addition, the museum receives state funding as a state-recognised museum.
