Museum Strategy 2026–2030
Skovgaard Museum tells the story of a defining chapter in Danish art history. Drawing on more than 200 years of Danish art, we invite visitors into narratives about landscape, faith, family, community, education, and identity—stories shaped in the late 19th century that continue to influence our society today.
In the coming years, the museum will focus on enhancing the visitor experience, strengthening the involvement of children and young people, and developing the organization through meaningful partnerships and communities.
